This Is Performance Art (TIPA) is a series of events celebrating the history of performance art from across the globe. After the success of TIPA Aberdeen in 2011 we are delighted to be presenting another edition with artists who are social, political and always questioning. We hope to inspire you to want to explore performance art beyond this exciting programme of artists, many of who are visiting Scotland for the very first time. The University of Aberdeen presents: Performance Art: East, Northeast, West 30 -31 October 2015 A free public conference with talks and artistic performances. Performance Art East, Northeast, West will explore the development of performance art in Eastern Europe, North America, and the Northeast of Scotland, highlighting connections between artists that occurred along the way.
