Mapping the Visual Arts in Scotland

SCAN has been commissioned by Creative Scotland to undertake the mapping aspect of the Visual Arts Sector Review. Mapping the Visual Arts in Scotland provides an opportunity for those working in the visual arts to make visible the significant and important work that they do.

Two surveys, for Individuals andOrganisations will capture feedback from the widest range of artists, curators, producers, academics, galleries and visual art organisations, reflecting the sector and its ecology.

The web links above will require you to complete the surveys in one session, this should take you around 30 minutes.

We have sent unique survey links to all SCAN members and subscribers that will allow you to complete the Individual Survey over more than one session, however, if you are not a SCAN member or subscriber, or, have not received a link please follow the instructions below.

To complete the Individual Survey over more than one session, please email info@sca-net.org and request a unique link to the Individual Survey.

For those completing a survey on behalf of an organisation (please note we only need one return per organisation), and require to complete it in more than one session, please e-mail info@sca-net.org and request a unique link to the Organisation Survey.

Both surveys close at 7pm on Monday 19th October 2015.

We hope to reveal the span and diversity of practice across the country and to build a picture of the strengths and opportunities for the sector into the future.
For the mapping process to be effective we need to achieve as many completed surveys as possible to reflect the experiences of people working across the sector.
Please help by forwarding this message or link to your peers.

Many thanks for your contribution.
