New Children’s Marketing Competition: Open for Entries Now
As part of The Bookseller’s Children’s Conference, we’re launching a new competition to find the most inventive marketing and publicity campaigns in children’s and Young Adult publishing. We’re happy to announce that we’re officially open for entries now!
The judging panel will be looking for innovation, creativity and commercial awareness. The campaign can be for a children’s print or digital book, from board books to YA, fiction or non-fiction. The competition is also open to imprints, new platforms, or groups of books as well as new titles.
The Children’s Marketing Competition is open only to companies with delegates attending the Bookseller Children’s Conference at Milton Court, London. Delegates who have already signed up are eligible to enter. To book your conference tickets, visit the webpage now.
Winners will get the chance to present their campaign at the Children’s Conference on 29th September. They will also receive advertising spend with The Bookseller.
The overall winner will receive £2,000 to spend on print or digital advertising with The Bookseller. The two runners-up will each receive £1,500 ad spend. One of the runner-up prizes is reserved for a low or no-budget campaign. Low or no-budget campaigns are also eligible to win the overall prize.
The winner of the Audience Award, voted for at the conference, will receive £500 ad spend.
The marketing campaign must have gone live between 1st September 2014 and 1st August 2015. Publication dates are not taken into account. Companies may submit two campaigns each.
Deadline for submissions: Wednesday 16th September 2015. Entries received after this date will not be considered.
