Motion Picture Call Out

As part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2015, Woodland Creatures in association with BARK will be hosting a variety of performances and film nights during the month of August.

Located on Leith Walk we are an alternative venue away from the over crowded city centre that serves as an artfully-designed backdrop for the festival.

We are sending out an open call to all motion picture artists to submit a sample of their work for consideration. The film nights aim to showcase Scottish based emerging and established filmmakers, video artists and animators.

The venue is fully equipped with an HD/3D digital projector, a pull down projection screen and P.A. system.

We aim to provide an opportunity for film enthusiasts to mingle with emerging talent and to organise a variety of Q and A discussions between filmmakers and the audience after each screening.

There is no submission fee for entries and screenings will be advertised as free entry with audience donations after each screening.

Deadline for submissions: May 31st.

Selections will be made and entrants advised by Mid-June

Submission guidelines:

Short motion pictures of all genres (documentary, fiction, experimental, art house cinema, animation and video art)- in digital form.

Running time: Under 15mins including titles.

Submit via on-line link or via email.

Include a brief summary of the film and a short bio.

Smile on !

Location: All Scotland
