At Aberdeen Business School, we recognise that an understanding of digital media is fundamental to ensure the currency of all our graduates. We plan to further embed the related knowledge, skills and techniques across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and need an expert in digital marketing and media to help us realise this vision. ‘Big Data’ has been identified as a strategic priority for the University, and this post will also feed into related work being undertaken in the digital media field in Gray’s School of Art and the School of Computing.
We expect you to have experience of designing and implementing digital strategies, and an understanding of the related tools, technologies and knowledge base. As a member of staff in the Department of Communication, Marketing and Media, you will be involved in the related delivery across various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the Business School and a member of the course team for the new MSc Digital marketing. You will also be expected to contribute to the research agenda, with related output and contribution to research funding bids and projects.
You might currently be working in the digital media/marketing industry or in a related teaching and research capacity.
