Elina Partheniou

Elina Partheniou was born in Nicosia, Cyprus.

In 2005, she was awarded 1st place in the entrance examinations of the Athens School of Fine Arts and succeeded the category of rightful special artistic inclination (talents). She studied Fine Arts with Major in Painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts from which she graduated with a Distinction in 2011. She also holds a Master’s in Painting from the same University.

Elina Partheniou took part in more than 20 Group and Solo exhibitions, both in Cyprus and internationally. She has received numerous prizes and awards including the 2nd prize in the Visual Arts Competition “Tribute to The Great French Painters”, organised by the French Institute of Cyprus. Her paintings can be seen in private and public collections in Cyprus, Greece and Egypt.

Her unique work is made with mixed media on multiple white medium-grain papers. She uses materials such as graphite stick pencils, acrylic paint, coloured pencils, deco stones etc.
