Opportunity to become an Arts Development Assistant at Scottish Sculpture Workshop


Scottish Sculpture Workshop is offering an internship opportunity in arts management and development. We are seeking a motivated individual with an interest in working with artists in residence, who wishes to gain experience in all areas of arts management, including arts administration, event organisation and curatorial development. This opportunity is for recent graduates (up to two years out of college/university).


SSW is an established arts organisation, situated in Lumsden, rural Aberdeenshire. From our main office and a collection of artist studios, set around a busy foundry, we run a series of workshops and events, including festivals, performances, exhibitions and lectures. We also run a strong programme of residencies – including local, international and student artists.


The Internship will start on 16th September until 16th December 2013.


Renumeration: £50 per week, Self-catering accommodation and access to facilities, including internet, will be provided by SSW.
