SEVENTEEN, ABERDEEN’S NEWEST EXHIBITION SPACE IS LOOKING FOR PITCHES

Seventeen is the new exhibition space and venue in the old One Up Shop at 17 Belmont Street.

The shop will also be used as a central place to find out about every gig and event happening in the region.

For artists and arts organisation there’ll be spaces for workshops, classes and meeting spaces.

It will also be the office for the team behind Aberdeen’s bid to be UK City of Culture in 2017.

Work is happening on all three floors in the space to get it ready to open to the public on Saturday March 16th at 12pm.

Aberdeen City Council are looking for expressions of interest from artists or arts organisation who would want to exhibit or showcase or create new work in the building.

The guidelines for proposing new work are here and the application form itself is here.

Alternatively a printed copy can be requested by emailing vibrantaberdeen@aberdeencity.gov.uk or by calling 01224 522 341.
