4CNW Talent Fund – Discovery Event for Creatives

4CNW Talent is an exciting new fund which offers business opportunities to professionals working in the creative industries. If you are a creative practitioner who can offer services to businesses and work to commission, this fund may be of interest to you. Applications are sought from all creative disciplines including design, music, performance, literature, film and digital arts. 

The 4CNW project aims to encourage non creative industry businesses to understand the value of creative thinking and to offer creative professionals access to new customers. 

The 4CNW Talent fund, which has a total budget of €100,000, invites Scottish businesses in the Agri-food, Life Sciences, Technology and Tourism sectors to apply for a talent voucher (between €1,000 and €5,000) to commission the services of a creative professional who can offer new areas of expertise to help solve a business challenge. With voucher awards worth up to €5,000 available for individual business challenges, applications will be assessed by an expert panel with successful businesses required to match their award creating a commissioning pot of up to €10,000 per project. 

Creative professionals are invited to register for 4CNW Talent by completing the online application form by Friday 8 March 2013. All those registering will receive the option to automatically sign up to the European How to Grow platform – an initiative which provides Europe wide networks for creative practitioners.

As the Scottish brokers for this project, Cultural Enterprise Office are hosting a Discovery Event to provide further information to creatives on Thursday 24 January 2013 at Lothian Chambers, Edinburgh. (Please note a Discovery Event for businesses in the Agri-food, Life Sciences, Technology and Tourism sectors is being held between 09:30 and 11:30.)
