December 7, 2012

Join NEPAN (a North East Participatory Arts Network) for a festive glass of wine and a natter about participatory art in the public realm, with Colin Andrews & Susan T. Grant in conversation.

Colin will talk about his soon to be launched interactive light & digital media installation, Above & Below, commissioned by Aberdeen’s Public Art Fund & Susan will be reflecting on her recent Reside artist’s residency which explored the issue of identity and belonging within Midlothian communities and featured collaborative public realm outputs.

There will be time for more general participatory arts chat, practice sharing and festive nibbles too!

The event will be held @ SMART Gallery from 5 – 7pm on Thursday 13th December

This event is free but places are limited so please RSVP to

The current exhibition at SMART is My Future Aspirations, which features 40 placards with future aspirations written by young people exhibited in Rubislaw Terrace Gardens beside the gallery – look out for them on the way to the event!
