NIGHT TIME GALLERY _ THE COLLECTOR

November 21, 2012

For the first time in Aberdeen we see a venue being opened up to host a night time gallery and present the art collection of Keith Douglas and Cristina Vettese. Keith has recently became a patron of the SMART gallery and on getting to know him we were amazed at his extensive collection of contemporary art. Keith and Cristina have been taking art cruises for many years and have been investing in international artists work, they have got to know the artist while travelling and it is through this unique experience they have purchased work for their home. This has become a long life love of theirs and now, they wish to share that with the general public. The collection boasts many established American artists with a recent acquisition from the Warhol Foundation. We at SMART are intrigued by his investment in the arts, why he chooses to do it and see this event for us as a social exercise, an opportunity for others to get up close and personal with one man’s personal taste.
The Night Time Gallery will be open on Tuesday 4 December from 6pm – 9pm.

Please pop along to St James’s Place Wealth Management to view selected pieces from the collection.

Hosted by Gregor Howitt and Alastair Buchan of St James’s Place Wealth Management.
