ArtWorks & NEPAN – participatory and socially engaged arts practice.

October 29, 2012

ArtWorks & NEPAN would like to invite you to be part of an informal open table discussion looking at creative evaluation in the context of participatory and socially engaged arts practice.

The afternoon will include a presentation from Impact Arts, who will discuss their experience of the SROI (Social Return on Investment) evaluation model, which they used recently to evaluate their ongoing Craft Cafe project. This will be followed by informal discussion, Q&A and tea & cake!

When: 2 – 4 on Monday 5th November
Where: Peacock Visual Arts, Aberdeen

We are hoping that this will be the first in a series of informal creative talking shops, each with a different focus around participatory creative practice.

If you would like to come along please email Nicole Gildea: infonepan@gmail.com …the event is free but places are limited so please email to book your place in advance!

NEPAN [a North East Participatory Arts Network] is part of the ArtWorks research project and was conceived as a practice sharing and research based artists’ network in the North East of Scotland, with a focus on participatory arts and fostering stronger practice in this field through a programme of dialogue, research and practical exchange. At the moment we are a small group but we are hoping to build a bigger informal network over the coming months.
