SME Implementation Support Programme 2012/13 | Zero Waste Scotland

October 4, 2012

Closing date: 18 Jan 2013

Zero Waste Scotland will deliver a £80,000 programme in 2012/13 to support Small and Medium Sized organisations (SMEs) seeking to implement resource efficiency improvements within their organisations.

It is recognised that while SMEs understand the benefits of resource efficiency, they often do not take action, lacking both time and money to make the necessary changes. This fund has therefore been designed to help SMEs overcome these barriers through the provision of capital support for making process /operational improvements to reduce raw material use, waste production or packaging, or for employing a short-term skilled resource to undertake a particular project with a focus on waste prevention. Please note that funding will not be available for equipment to improve onsite waste management and recycling e.g. recycling bins, balers etc.
