OPEN CALL TO VIDEO ARTISTS

September 24, 2012

We’d like to invite you to take part in a pop up exhibition within the Glue Factory Tank Room, which will showcase a wide variety of local/international video art and other forms of projected image (e.g. giffs, live visuals, performance etc..) in a multi-projection installation. The works will overlap and juxtapose from floor to ceiling at different heights and scales to create an immersive environment of imagery, colour and light. Live music will also feature at the event in the form of sound artists, musical acts and dj’s.

The event will take place on the evening of the 1st of December, (exact date yet to be confirmed) and will open along side a New Media Show which will also be taking place in the Glue Factory. The event offers a great opportunity to meet fellow artists, set up future collaborations, share ideas, make a statement and have fun!

Requirements:

– Each artist must be able to provide their own projector and any additional equipment. (dvd player, extension lead etc..)

– Each artist must be present at the install.
