Are you aged 14 to 18 with a passion for choreography? Then apply to be part of Hothouse, an exciting new opportunity from Scottish Ballet and YDance.

We’ve created a programme to inspire and support you as a future choreographer. Hothouse will provide you with the chance to:

Develop your own dance and creative ideas

Learn and develop a range of choreography skills

Work with dance professionals from both companies

Learn from some well known choreographers

Why has Hothouse been developed?

Hothouse has been designed to inspire a new generation of Scottish choreographers. This year long programme will encourage and support young dancers to create their own choreography and offers participants the chance to work with dance professionals from Scottish Ballet and YDance and other well known choreographers.

What’s Involved?

The first stage of the programme is a Skill Up Day – Sunday 14 October 2012 at the Scottish Ballet Studios at Tramway, Glasgow – followed by additional weekend and week long experiences throughout the year.

How To Apply:

You must be aged between 14 and 18, have a passion to create your own choreography and be free to come along to the Skill Up Day on Sunday 14 October.
